Overview

The Stork Nest Infant Care System™ (The Stork Nest™) is a revolutionary new multi-purpose product designed to make caring for a baby easier than ever. It is a stackable/collapsible "all-in-one" device designed to replace a bath tub, storage unit, diaper bag, change table, bassinet, and entertainment centre. The Stork Nest represents the ultimate in convenience and value for parents. It is affordable, compact, durable, lightweight, portable, safe, and very simple to use!

Description of Components

Bathtub
A contoured bathtub also doubles as a container base for the Stork Nest. It has a removable external fabric skirt to provide a decorative curtain around the bathtub, ultimately concealing the bathtub from view when fully assembled.

Storage Basket
Fitting perfectly inside the bathtub is a removable storage basket with multiple compartments to separate and organize various baby care accessories such as diapers, wipes, powder, soap, shampoo, ointments, clothing, face cloths, towels, blankets and toys.

Change Table
A removable change table also acts as a lid to the bathtub, thereby creating a sealed storage container. The change table would accommodate a removable mattress and have high sides to prevent the baby from rolling off. It would also provide the bed surface for the unit when used as a bassinet for sleeping.

Mattress
The removable mattress would ideally be a waterproof vinyl shell over a soft foam pad and is shaped to fit snugly into the recessed surface of the change table. The mattress can also be stored under the change table lid inside the bathtub container and above the storage basket.

Safety Belt
Primarily, the belt is a safety device that secures the infant to the change table. However, it also serves as a secondary method of securing the lid (change table) to the container (bathtub). Thirdly, the belt can act as a central carrying handle for the unit when packed up into its transport or storage mode.

Bassinet
A removable and collapsible canopy attaches to the change table to convert it to a bassinet. Ideally, a fabric shell covers a lightweight and sturdy plastic frame that can open and close. When folded or dismantled, it can be stored inside of the container.

Entertainment Centre
A removable toy or mobile can attach to the front of the bassinet canopy just above the baby, thereby converting the unit into an entertainment centre where the infant can play.
