MISSION STATEMENT

To market a fun,  versatile, and affordable new form of water entertainment which is fun for children and adults to use at a lake without the need for acquiring new or special skills.

THE PRODUCT

Tiki Board is a plastic floatation board with a padded and belted seat area, a cup holder, and a removable paddle and removable water cannon. It can be used simply for a relaxing float on the water, or for paddling about, fishing, or for more aggressive water adventures such as being engaged in a water fight using the continuous-fill water cannon.

SITUATION

Although visiting lakes during the summer months has been a popular pastime for many years and among many different types of people, knee-boards, kayaks, and canoes offer limited enjoyment for only older kids and adults, whereas less expensive floatation devices offer only limited enjoyment for younger kids. Tiki Board offers an affordable alternative that is suitable for anyone over the age of five, with a sturdy and versatile float board that can be used for a variety of water activities.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective is to license the rights to the manufacturing and distribution of the product in North America to qualified organizations.

THE MARKET

The target market consists of virtually everyone over five years of age who enjoy water activity at a lake.

PROTECTION

The inventor has currently applied for U.S. Patent protection on the product and Canadian trademark registration on the name and logo for the product. Protection in other jurisdictions will be applied for on an as is required basis.
