Product Description

The Rocker Locker is an esthetically pleasing new cover for a light switch that has the ability to lock the switch in a set position. The Rocker Locker looks like a normal switch cover except that there are two buttons on the cover (one on either side of the switch). These buttons when pressed and slid into position lock the switch in its current position. The switch cannot move until the buttons are once again pressed in and slid back into the neutral position. Once the buttons are in the neutral position the switch can be used unimpeded, as a normal switch.

 

Uses

The Rocker Locker can be used to eliminate inadvertent switch operations. For example: furnace switches, motion light switches, dark room lights, switches that control electrical outlets, garbage disposal switches, fireplaces and more. Because of it's subtle appearance, the Rocker Locker can be used throughout the house.

 

Although the Rocker Locker cannot be a replacement for adult supervision, it can be used as a safety device for children, for example on gas fireplace switches and garbage disposal switches.

 

Since the Rocker Locker is easy for an adult to operate and it can be used in a neutral position, it can also be useful for people without small children but may have children visit, such as Grandparents with their Grandchildren. In this way the occupants of the house can use their switches unimpeded when there are no children around and then lock the appropriate switches when small children come over.

 

Because of its versatility the Rocker Locker can be used not only to stop children but also to deter adults from accidentally turning on or off the wrong switch. For example: furnace switches, motion light switches, dark room lights, switches that control electrical outlets and more.
