Street signs are frequently damaged by traffic, weather and vandal. Street and Highway Governing Bodies must attend to these disturbances in a timely manner. The cost in repair and replacement is often the labor involved to uproot and replace the stub remains of a signpost.

Product Description

The Post Pocket is a box shaped sleeve that is placed into the ground when a sign is first erected. The sleeve allows the sign post to slide into the ground easily and securely. Should a sign be damaged, The Post Pocket allows an attendant to easily remove and replace the stump with little effort and labor hours. The result is a considerable decrease in man-hours compared with traditional methods without The Post Pocket.

Objectives

The developers of The Post Pocket are willing to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations for specified territories and timeframes. These organizations should be capable of accessing the appropriate municipal market with the product.

Intellectual Property Protection

The Post Pocket is the subject of Patent Pending in the United States and Canada. Other territories are being considered for Intellectual Property Development.
