The Situation
The consumer market for camping
products has continued to grow, however, there is still no
product that integrates an inflatable mattress within the
structure of a tent. Presently, mattresses and tents are sold
separately, there exists an opportunity to integrate the two
products.
Product Description
The Flat Mat, is an inflatable
mattress system that is integrated into the floor of a tent.
The mattress when needed for sleeping can be inflated easily.
When not needed or in situations where more floor space is
required, The Flat Bed can be deflated and fastened to the floor
of the tent.
Objectives
The developers of The Flat Mat
are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution
rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should
be capable of accessing the appropriate consumer markets with
the product.
Intellectual Property Protection
The Flat Mat is the subject of
Patent Pending in the United States and Canada. Other
territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
