The Flat Mat is a comfortable, space saving inflatable mattress
attached to the floor of a camping tent that when deflated
becomes an integrated and usable part of the tent floor.
The Flat
Mat allows a camper the option of inflating all beds for maximum
tent occupancy or leaving one or more deflated in relation to
the number of beds needed. The space provided by the deflated
beds is completely usable as the beds fold to the floor to form
a smooth, flat, walkable, washable surface with the top and
bottom edges seamed together. The resulting space can be safely
used for standing/walking or storage inside the tent with no
loose edges to trip over.
The Patent
Pending folding and fastening system makes this new revolution
in camping products possible. When inflated the bed is a
typical camping mattress. When deflated the bed edges attach
together and the bed becomes part of the floor.
When the
camping experience is over, the user simply deflates and folds
up the tent, mattresses and all. No extra space is needed in the
vehicle for mattress transport or at home for storage and beds
are one less thing the camper has to pack.
